Peaceful Beginnings is a Center for the Childbearing Year where we offer resources and support to families interested in fertility, pregnancy, postpartum and newborn care.
At our center, some of our services include Lactation Consulting Services, Massage Therapy, Prepared childbirth classes including HypnoBirthing® Classes and Lamaze® Classes. In addition, we offer classes in newborn care, newborn massage and baby sign language.
Therapeutic massage specialties include Fertility/Preconception, Pregnancy, Postnatal Massage, Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage, as well as Newborn Infant Massage Instructions.
Check out our boutique, where you can find nursing bras, affordable breast pump, cloth diapers, baby carriers and toys by Melissa and Doug.
Breastfeeding Consultation and
Support Group

Affordable way to receive quality lactation consultation.
This group allows mothers who want to breastfeed their babies but are challenged by an assortment of issues. A certified lactation consultant (IBCLC) will assist you and your baby in a small group setting. An example of the issues we can assist with are difficulty with latch, sore or painful breastfeeding, slow or inadequate weight gain, low milk supply, over supply issues, plug ducts, engorgement, back to work and breast pump issues.
FEE: $75.00 for 4 group sessions or Drop in Fee of $25.00.

Our Baby Bums to Super Mums Boutique offers everything for Mom & Baby including products by: Medela, Bravado! Designs, La Leche League, My Brest Friend, Boppy, Bum Genius, Bummis, Kissaluvs, Thirsties, Moby Wrap, ERGObaby carriers, Kozy Carriers, ZoloWear, Melissa & Doug toys, LovingScents, products by work at home moms and more.
At our boutique, you are encouraged to bring your baby and try out the different baby carriers before making your purchase.
So many cloth diapers to choose from. At Peaceful Beginnings, you are invited to see and touch the diapers as well as get a "class" on cloth diapering by Linda or Heather.
We are an official Medela Rental Station where you can rent or purchase Medela breast pumps and supplies.

Our fees
We operate on a fee for service basis. Fees for breastfeeding services, massage therapy and classes are listed for each service. Fees for home visits are determined at the time of appointment. Packages and gift certificates are available. Prices are subject to change.
What form of payment do we accept?
The preferred method of payment is by cash or check as this method keeps our prices low. However, we also accept most major credit cards including health care flexible spending accounts (HCFSA). When requested, we will provide a receipt that you can provide to your health care coverage for allowable reimbursement.
